Okay, I know that there's going to be a LOT of OOC-ness going on here, but please don't stop reading this fanfiction because of it. There is a perfectly good reason for it, which you will find at the end of the story. Thank you.

-------FLASHBACK-------
"Is this one good enough?"
"Oh wow, a rose! It's so pretty! How's this one?"
You handed it to him and he sniffed it. "A daisy! My mother loves daisies! Thank you, (y/n)!"
It was a warm spring afternoon and the next day was Mother's Day. You were spending the day with your best friend, Guy Cecil. Since you two were only four and a half, you didn't have enough money to buy something, so you made your gifts, as usual. You were making a flower halo for your mom and Guy was pressing flowers for his mom. Your mom had also made your older sister, (s/n) look after you.
"(S/n)! (S/n)! Can you take a picture of us?"
"Okay, let me set up the camera."
You were glad you asked your sister to bring her digital; you wanted to remember this moment forever.
"Smile, you two!"
You and Guy both flashed big grins.

-------Present Day-------
You sighed sadly as you gently placed the picture back on your nightstand. Memories of that day had come flooding back to you and you thought of Guy. You missed your best friend so much and you wished he hadn't become so afraid of females, especially since you'd always had a crush on him. To make matters worse, the crush had only gotten bigger over the years, as did Guy's guynophobia. Of course, you understood and respected his reason for his fear, but you couldn't help but wish it had never happened to begin with.
You and Guy were still friends, only you had to keep your distance and you two co;mmunicated through a friend of his, Luke Fon Fabre. It was getting hard though – you and Guy rarely ever saw Luke now that you three were in high school.
Sighing once more, you crawled into bed; tomorrow was Friday; another day of school.
-------
You woke up on your own and rolled over to see the time: 6:30.
'Oh crap! I've overslept!'
You rushed to take a shower, get dressed, scarf down your breakfast, and brush you teeth and hair. You just barely made it to the bus.
-------
When you got to school, you were shocked to see Guy standing at your locker.
"Guy? What are you doing here?"
"Just thought I'd drop by and say hi, cutie!"
He gave you a hug and left you standing there, staring at him, dumbfounded.
He waved his hand in front of your face.
"Hey, Earth to (y/n), are you still there?"
"Guy, I don't get it. You just… hugged me."
He flashed you a huge grin. "Well of course I did, I mean, how could I resist hugging such a pretty girl?"
You were in total shock. "B- but you… and your guynophobia and–"
He held the back of his hand up to your forehead. "Easy there, (y/n), you feel a bit warm. Are you alright?"
"No, I am not alright! You were always afraid of girls and now you're all over me and I just don't get it!"
"Well, would this make you feel better?"
Without warning, he pressed his lips up against yours and you felt your knees go totally weak. It did feel nice, however, but you wouldn't tell him that. You were still completely puzzled by his actions.
The kiss was over all too quickly, though it felt like a forever while it had still lasted.
"Guy!"
"You didn't like it? I'm sorry, I guess I shouldn't have kissed you like that. It's just that I've liked you for a really long time now – ever since we met, and well, I just couldn't help myself."
"But Guy, you're AFRAID of girls."
He only laughed at your remark as if it were the funniest thing he'd ever heard. "What? Oh, come on now, (y/n), don't joke like that; you know it isn't true. If it was, I wouldn't have feelings like that for you. But now the question is, do you like me like that?"
"Well… yeah, I do, but…."
"Great!" He pulled you in for a kiss on the cheek before the bell rang. "Well, it looks like I've got to get to class, but I'll see you later, baby."
The whole rest of the day was basically like that, you going to class and Guy fawning over you, over and over again. You did enjoy it, but something just didn't feel right.
-------
"So what's for dinner, mom?"
You were home at last after the strangest day of your life.
"Oh, I figured you and Guy could make it."
You looked to your right, into the kitchen and saw Guy working the stove. He turned toward you and waved, smiling.
"Ack! Why is he here?"
"Shh! (Y/n), that's not very nice of you; Guy is a guest here. Now be a dear and help him out in the kitchen, please."
You slowly and reluctantly inched your way into the kitchen to help your new boyfriend out.
"So… uh… Guy… what are we making?"
He gave a one-word answer which nevertheless confused you: "Pancakes!"
"Pan… what?"
"Pancakes. You know, cute, fluffy little–"
"I know that, but… why? It's dinnertime and pancakes are breakfast."
"Aww, you're so cute when you're confused, my little (y/n)-bunny. It's not a crime, you know, so I figured why not? And I thought we could celebrate our one-day anniversary. I do enjoy breakfast for dinner on special occasions. Oh look, they're ready! Here, can you drizzle some syrup on these?" He handed you a plateful and you complied.
"Mom, dad, dinner's ready!"
Your parents sat down as you handed them their plates. They ate their dinner without question.
By the time Guy left, you were exhausted and fell asleep the second your head hit the pillow.
-------
"(Y/n)! Come on, it's time to get up! You have school today!"
"Hmm? What? No I don't; it's Saturday."
"(Y/n), tomorrow's Saturday. Today's Friday."
"That can't be; yesterday was..." That was when you knew.
At that moment, you realized why Guy had been acting so unusual - it was only just a dream.
You sighed sadly. 'Oh well, it was a nice dream while it lasted.'

Hovering between your dreams and reality the slow, steady sound of a fire crackling gently pulled you further from your not so restful sleep. Even in your current state, the popping and snapping of a fire didn't make sense to you. You didn't own a fireplace, but then again, this didn't feel like your bed either. Your confusion growing, you forced yourself to move. Shielding your eyes from the bright, over head light, you looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. Tall ceilings, elegant draperies and expensive looking furniture surrounded you. As much as you wished it was, this was most certainly not your home. On the other side of

'This is mine, go get your own.' He states definitively, carefully inching his ice cream from your hungry gaze.
'But the kitchen is so far away.' You plead once more, clutching on to his arm as you desperately try to change his seemingly unwavering mind. 'Plus you always make it so much better.'

There are parts of her no one has the right to know, because it’s hers alone.
That night was no different from the previous ones. It would start with a quiet mumbling, disconnected words that had no meaning to others outside her mind. Soft cries would then scape her parted lips, and n
